This particular client had a Facebook alumni page where they periodically shared posts. But, they realized they were mainly reaching alumni parents, not the alumni themselves. The solution was to meet the students on the social media platform they frequented. Instagram proved to be the answer. Over time, the group grew as did engagement. Students who had not been in touch with the school for several years became active participants on the board. I continue to manage the school’s community and provide strategies and content to boost engagement on social media.
